Blood tests in City of London: common questions
Can you come to my office in the City before work?
Yes. Early visits suit fasting tests such as cholesterol. Ask for an early visit when you book.
Can several colleagues be tested in one visit?
Yes. If a few people in the same office book together, we can arrange one visit.
Do I need to fast for a cholesterol test?
It depends on the test. Each test shows whether you need to fast when you book, and we'll remind you in your confirmation.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book any of our tests directly. A doctor reviews your results and will contact you if anything needs follow-up.
How quickly will I get my results?
Turnaround depends on the test. Many routine results are back within a day or two of your sample reaching the laboratory, while specialist tests take longer. Each test shows its expected turnaround time before you book.
