Terms of service
The terms that apply when you book a blood test with us. Please read them before you book.
Last updated 9 October 2026.
1. About us
Blood Tests Direct is a trading name of Pop Up Docs Ltd, a company registered in England (company number 13147400), which also trades as GP and Me. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (provider ID 1-11854805327). Our clinic is at 28-29 Wilcox Close, Nine Elms, London SW8 2UD.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Pop Up Docs Ltd. "You" means the person booking and having the test.
2. Who can use our service
- Our service is for adults aged 18 and over.
- Each person must book in their own name and give their own consent. You can't book a test for someone else without their agreement.
- The details you give us must be accurate, so that we can identify you and report your results safely.
3. What our service is, and isn't
- We arrange private blood tests, processed by The Doctors Laboratory (TDL), a UKAS accredited laboratory.
- A GMC-registered doctor reviews every result before it is released to you.
- Our online test finder suggests tests from a range approved by our doctors. It does not diagnose, and its suggestions are not medical advice.
- We don't offer urgent or emergency tests. If you think you need urgent help, call 999, go to A&E or call NHS 111.
- A blood test is not a substitute for seeing a doctor about symptoms. If you have symptoms, we may recommend a consultation alongside your tests.
4. Booking and prices
- The price of each test is shown on our website when you book. The price you pay is the price shown at the time of booking.
- A clinic appointment is included in the price of your tests. A home visit costs £80 on top of your tests.
- If we think a test you have booked isn't suitable for you, we will contact you before your appointment.
- Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
5. Payment
You pay at your appointment, for your tests and, if you choose one, the home visit fee. We don't take payment online.
6. Cancelling or changing your appointment
- You can cancel or change your appointment free of charge up to 2 hours before your appointment time.
- To cancel or change, message us on WhatsApp, call us on 020 7207 6919 or email hello@bloodtestsdirect.co.uk.
- Please give us as much notice as you can, so that we can offer the time to someone else.
- If we need to cancel or change your appointment, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer another time.
7. Your appointment
- We will check your identity and ask for your consent before taking blood.
- Some tests need preparation, such as fasting. We tell you about this when you book. If you haven't been able to prepare, tell us, and we may suggest another appointment.
- We may decide not to take blood if we think it isn't safe or suitable, for example if you describe symptoms that need a doctor first. If so, we will explain why and tell you where to get help.
8. Samples
Occasionally a laboratory can't process a sample, for example if it has clotted or been damaged in transit. If this happens, we will contact you to arrange a repeat sample at no extra charge.
9. Results
- The time each test takes is shown on our website. These times are estimates, and some results can take longer.
- A doctor reviews every result and adds a comment before it is sent to you.
- If a result needs action, a doctor will contact you directly. Please make sure we have the right phone number.
- With your consent, we can share your results with your NHS GP.
- We never give your results to anyone else without your consent, unless the law requires us to.
- You can book a doctor's consultation to discuss your results. This is charged separately.
10. Your personal information
We look after your information as set out in our privacy notice.
11. Our responsibility to you
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us by email at hello@bloodtestsdirect.co.uk or by phone. We will look into your concerns and reply in line with our complaints policy, which we can send you on request.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones shown on our website when you booked.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
